BioProtect - About DARAY

DARAY have been designing and manufacturing specialised lights since 1969. A privately-owned British company based in Derbyshire, United Kingdom. DARAY developed the concept of optical back projection through twin apertures, and produced the patented BILITE dental light. Through its technology, the BILITE set new standards for dental operating lights, and is only now being supplemented by DARAY's world-leading DL50 parabolic-reflector light.

For over 20 years, DARAY have continued to expand on its product range and produced a comprehensive range of medical lights including operating theatre, examination and patient lighting to support the needs of medical practitioners. In more recent years DARAY has expanded its electronic products and introduced MediSys to compliment its existing portfolio.

DARAY has always aimed to exceed customer expectations and a significant achievement for 2007 is our recently introduced range of dental packages including our new flagship product, the DP2000. We look forward to developing and introducing many more new products in 2008.

As well as being accredited to ISO 9001, DARAY's designs conform to BS EN 60601-2-41. All products carry CE marking.
